Conditions of use
- The divisional loan service is for students and staff
- Certain equipment will require a Risk Assessment
to be submitted prior to booking, please be advised that if this is not completed
your booking will be cancelled. If a Risk Assessment is required, this will be
clearly indicated on the booking system.
- You will need your KentOne card to borrow and
collect equipment.
- You can only collect booked equipment yourself.
Sending a friend or colleague to collect on your behalf is NOT permitted.
- You should not leave the equipment unattended.
- If the equipment is not returned by its due date
and time, you will not be permitted to borrow any further As soon as a reserved
item becomes overdue, you can’t borrow any further items.
- You may incur a charge for the replacement cost of the
equipment if it is lost, damaged or not returned within two weeks of its due date. This is decided at the discretion of CEMS
- You should report any faults with equipment to
the Technical Service Team, located in the Jennison Building immediately OR
email cemstech@kent.ac.uk

As a user of this system registered or otherwise you agree that if for any reason you are unable to use smarthub for the intended purpose then you will contact your store via telephone, email or in person to resolve the problem. Siso Software Limited are not responsible or liable in any way for any errors, damages or any other loss caused by your usage of this system. For the avoidance of doubt this includes any loss howsoever suffered including negligence or fraud except where such negligence causes death or personal injury.
